Greenville Griffins 17- Cape Fear 33
Tough loss this weekend. It's a game that was definitely there for us to win but we just did not seize
the chance. Our poor tackling made them look like superstars and gifted them some easy tries.
We started very slow and let them in for 2 easy scores hat put us 0-12 in the hole before we woke up.
That gave Cape Fear life and was exactly the start they needed after traveling 5 hours.

Greenville Griffins 45- Clemson 19
The start to our season certainly hit us with a bang. A cold Clemson Thursday night was the venue for our preseason warm up. We traveled strong with 26, which definitely helps morale and allows the training staff to try out new options.

New Sponsorship with St. Francis and Piedmont Orthopaedics!!!
We are very excited to annouce a new sponsorship with St. Francis Sports Medicine and Piedmont
Orthopaedics, two premier providers in the upstate. As part of this new partnership, we will have
athletic trainers at all home matches and some practices which will benefit our club and visiting clubs
in many ways. Also, we will have expedited care made available to us that will allow all Greenville

Spring Season Kick-Off Meeting
We will have a kickoff meeting for the Spring Season this Wednesday Night January 6 at The Irish Pub at 214 N. Pleasantburg Drive from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. If you haven't been there before it's next to Krispy Kreme.
We will be talking about the upcoming season with regard to practices and games. We'll also be talking about an exciting partnership we just secured which is huge news for the Club.
This is very important meeting so plan on being there. We want to start the season strong.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out there.

Greenville Griffins Get 501c3 Status
Great news, we are now officially recognized as a 501c3 non-profit organization! This status means that
any donations are tax-deductible. Also, it gives our club some additional options for fundraising ,
and allows us to participate in many other events in our community. More news to come, and let us know
if you have any questions.
