From downtown basically you take North Academy Street toward Corridor/Hwy 123 out from downtown about 2 miles. Turn left onto Andrews St/​County Rd 475 Continue to follow County Rd 475 and that will take you to Sterling Field on the left.

Directions From Asheville, NC and points northwest
Take I-26 to Hendersonville NC, then US 25 South. Stay on Business 25 to the Furman University exit. You will come in the main gate. Follow the sinage to the "Athletic Facilities" The pitch is located adjacent to the Football stadium and Timmons (Basketball) Arena.

Directions From Charlotte NC and points northeast
Follow I-85 to Exit 51, taking I-385 North to Greenville. Travel about 2 or three miles taking the NORTH (NOT SOUTH) Pleasantburg Drive Exit. Stay on Pleasantburg for several miles. At Bob Jones Univ it will veer left. You will cross over Rutherford Road and pass a Bi-Lo and Home Depot. At the intersection of Pleasantburg and Poinsett Highway (hwy 25) -- There is a Dry Cleaner and Stax Restaurant here -- take a right. Go about two miles and take the "Timmons Arena" exit. At the top of the ramp take a left, cross over the bridge and take a right at the stop light (there is bank and McDonalds here). Go about 1/2 mile and take a right into the University. The rugby pitch is located adjacent to Paladin Stadium and Timmons Arena.
