Great Team Meeting
Great turnout at the meeting last night. Great to see new faces out there as
well as some of the craggy ones.
Officers for 2010/2011:
Dan Roberts, Chris Fallow, Joel Hedge, Florian Vie, Michael Honeycutt, Reed
Brogan, Jonathan Mullikin
Congrats to the incoming officers for the coming year and thanks to the outgoing
officers Tim Biven and Brett Van Der Merwe for your service to the club the past
year.
Introduction of Coaches:
Vince Atkinson was introduces as the head coach and he will be assisted by Mike
Cobb - Backs and Chris Courtney - Forwards.
Dan Roberts will be helping out as a player liason for the coaches.
Fall Practices:
Pre-season: Forwards practice will be this Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm out
at Monaghan and the Backs practice will be the following week on Tuesday and
Thursday from 7-8pm. The full team practice will begin Tuesday August 31 out at
Monaghan form 7-9pm and continue every Tuesday and Thursday through the Fall.
Vinny will expand a bit more on the pre-season practices for those who could not
make it last night.
Schedule:
The fall schedule was distributed. There are dedicated games for the 1st XV and
the 2nd XV this Fall season, so there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone
to get some significant game time.
