Best memory: Playing Waikato in the last game of the CANZ series in NZ, opposing scrum half, Kevin Putt was going to be an All Black trialist and had scored 4 tries in Waikato’s previous game. All local papers were projecting how he would dominate this poor Canadian scrum half and how Waikato would punish the Canadian team. Not only did Canada almost beat Waikato (entered into the match 0-3) I was voted player of the game by the television announcers as well as the host club, Waikato.

Worst memory:
’91 Canadian Championships, playing with Alberta against BC, who had dominated for years and made up 95% of the Canadian National team, we lost by 1 point. We played about as well as our team could have and barely came up short. There are still certain plays that I run over and over in my head.
