Gentlemen,
Well we lost to one of the best teams I have played against in a long long time.
Nashville are a very well rounded side and we played defence for probably 70 of
the 80 minutes. We put ourselves under a fierce amount of pressure in this game
due to our inability to win our own setpieces especuially lineouts. We just had
no platform to set our backs in motion with. The few times we did get the ball
we looked enterprising and scored an excellent try from a move that started just
outside our 22. I belive Mr. Fallow finished off the score.
So we now must focus on this weekends game against Cape Fear. We have to win our
setpieces if we are to play the kind of Rugby this team is capable of. It is extremely
important that we get everybody at both practices this week especially the forward
pack so we can work on perfecting our scrums and lineouts. Scrums and lineouts
are the perfect platforms to spring attacks from. We have to guarantee possession
on our put-ins.
So let's have everybody out there tomorrow night so we can prepare and build towards
this weekends game against Cape Fear. Remember that we are still very much in
the hunt for a playoff spot. They key is learning from our mistakes and improving
our play and adapting our game plan so that we are a better team each week.
See everyone tomorrow night.
